How do you put sounds into words? Plan B's music reflects a wide range of influences, from Clifford Brown to Wayne Shorter to Frank Zappa to Weather Report to Tin Hat Trio. It's American Standard Pop meets It's The Groove Stupid, and over this mix the players are given room to blow. Mostly it sounds like a group of excellent musicians enjoying each others' company, and the recordings are done live in the studio to capture that feel.
